Deja Vu

MJ's competitiveness is legend. He loved to win. He also loved to be there as the other guy lost. Mike was always mindful of his opponents.

It is a character flaw but my favorite part of his induction into the Hall of Fame today was seeing Sloan and Stockton's names, right there with the guy who made sure they never won it all.

I imagine Karl Malone slamming his truck radio in lifelong frustration.

  • Utah suckas....Nice post!

So here's a question for ya'll, who are current players who end up in the hall? Duncan, KG, Kobe, LeBron, CP3? What about Pierce, Amare, Gil, Nash? Any youngsters?

  • Kidd. Shaq. Wade. Yao. Iverson. Nash-definitely. Pierce--probably. Amare--doubtful. Gil--very doubtful. Dwight Howard--likely. Ray-Ray--maybe. Chauncey? Sheed? Deke?

Younguns? Durant, Rose, DWill. And, of course, Rodney Stuckey.

  • Dirk's got to be in too.

Stats alone won't get him in, but Tony Parker has run the show for multiple championship teams. By the time he's done (and he's only 26 right now) he may end up deserving to at least be in the conversation. He may end up in Dennis Johnson-like purgatory (shame), but I'll throw it out there.

    Show the euros some respect.
