They tried to do their best (but they could not)

Ten years later, losing a double digit lead in LA to lose Game 7 to the Lakers sucks just as much.

Thanks to KG, Ray, and Pauly. It was always more than the big three, but it would not have been anything without the power trio. Thanks Sheed for battling strong til the end. Thanks Rondo, Perk, Baby, Tony and surprise guest Nate Rob for the youthful energy and amazing play.

Great run. Dismal end. No rebounding, no rings.

F Kobster til eternity.

  • I would not have predicted Ron Artest hit his 3s, Ray Ray did not

Silver Lining: Ron Artest postgame interview.

  • Thanks for posting the interview - great stuff.

I watched the game in the cigar bar surrounded by Laker fans on an Alaska cruise ship. Strange trip for sure.

    "I totally forgot the question."

Ron Ron could be the one guy to help Kobe find peace in this world.

Kobe is so consumed by whatever ass-fucked drive that makes him go, he has become a freak. Did you see the crazy white hooded robe photo shoot from just before they playoffs?

Anyway, Ron Ron is indeed nuts as the interview shows but he is also so human. I loved the way he continues to carry responsibility for blowing up that dominant Pacers team. Honest about his past and present, mindful of others and his impact on them, with his family - I couldn't think of a more well adjusted perspective.

Hopefully Kobe can look across to Ron Ron's locker and see that being human is not out of the question.

    Until then, Fuck Kobe.

  • HP - I agree - it's hard to disagree with the man. As true as "both teams played hard."
