αντίο, J-Chill

Who will assume the throne of best NBA 'fro?

  • I was looking forward to seeing how high Childress would go in our draft this year. Hope not too many tears were shed in the Leventhal household.

    A must-read True Hoop post:

  • I am with Knick 33. Check that article. As much as I love the caliber of players in the NBA, the product is needlessly sucky in several aspects. Competition is healthy.

As for the Squacks, signing Josh Smith for a long term deal will help morale substantially. As much as I like Childress' game, energy wing players are often the easiest to replace. Players like Smith are a much more precious commodity.

  • I think Corey Brewer should keep on growing, and go fro. It would look cool, and if shaped properly might keep the brainwaves focused to a point that might help him hit a few open shots. Childress had a very high field goal percentage, so I think I'm right about that.

I also think it's cool JChill has taken the adventuresome route (and the euros) and headed to Greece. Why not mix it up? Besides, he wasn't exactly a boon to my moonball team last year. I'd be mad if tons of players started going, though.
