  • I wonder if he'll get picked up someplace. Not Minny...we've got guards already.

  • P.S. According to the constitution, HP-AllStars can add someone before the season:

8.1.3. Following completion of the Draft, no changes may be made to any roster until the end of the first day of NBA games, except to replace players deactivated by their NBA teams.

  • I disagree that HP can replace Rose on his roster. That rule was written specifically to allow people to draft injured players and move them to IR and pick a replacement to start the season. That should be deleted from the constitution since we added the bench.

That said, HP should consider himself lucky that Rose is getting waived. Now maybe he'll get a chance to play.

  • In this case, I read "deactivated" to include "cut". You can't have a player who is not in the NBA on your bench.

I think there is a $16.9 million loophole.

For the sake of argument, if a player like Ron Artest were suspended for the year he could still even be on the bench I think (no Motor City Exception). But if a player is not on an NBA roster, I think HP can fill the hole post-draft.

  • QBall is a good pick up, HP. You will be fine, just one supermove down.

  • Here's where it gets interesting. See my note on our league page.

Yahoo Justice -- a cold bowl of porridge.
