Dream Come True

A beautiful day. Sheed wearing the Green on a quest for a title.

I cannot think of a player that I love more except for the immortal LB. That be Larry, not LeBron.

Rasheed as sixth man is bad ass. KG and the Beast, and now Mr. Wallace. His ability to stretch the defense is going to be wicked. Cannot wait.

  • Happy to see a Weed Blazer go Green for ya. I will watch that. That seems like a much bigger threat than Posey. How's Sheed's D?

  • Well, as a fan of good basketball and a friend of Mike's, I'm intrigued by this move. As a Piston fan and devoted Celtic hater, I'm despondent. Both add up to the thought that the Celtics are the favorite for the title next year. Even though Sheed is not what he was defensively, it still will shape up to be an incredibly formidable front line. The change of scenery will motivate him. Enjoy it Weedie. Blech.

  • Sheed's D has slowed some, but that has always been his strong suit. Superlative team position defender who can guard on the post one on one. A great match for the C's scheme.

  • p.s. thanks Sheed, for the many great years as a Piston. You had highs and lows, but you won me over immediately with your many many contributions to the Pistons 04 title. It had to end, but I wish you the best, if not your new team.

  • This is really exciting -- I love the thought of a re-invigorated Sheed. Hopefully it will work out. Seems almost wrong that he should be on the same team as KG after all those great years as rivals, but guess they can continue to compete every day at practice. I'd love to be a fly on the wall...

  • KG, Rasheed - I say let's have a duet.

'Oh oh, Boston, you're my home"
