Hey Mike...

All this Cleveland talk seems really early.

  • True, true, HP.

Nice to see you so quick back on the bandwagon after pleading for the arrival of opening day. I always thought being a fair weather fan sounded fun. Enjoy it.

NBA is about match ups, and the Bulls are tough one for the Celts. Kudos to Rose. Whatta a post season debut.

As for Ray Allen's crapiness and Tyrus Thomas lucky shooting: If either or both keep up, Celtics are in a world of hurt.

  • You cut me deep.

I've got many failings but that's not one of them. A couple of tough losses in a single day seems to have you reeling.

The Bulls caught a wave in the waning months of the season and perhaps a super lucky draw in the wounded Leprechauns. None of that changes Del Negro's inability to call a good play out of a timeout. I dread Tyrus' new found confidence in his shot selection and Joakim is still all elbows, knees and gangly energy.

Catching little green men won't yield the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...just the up and comers' satisfaction of making the mighty falter, which is especially fun when they talk so big.

  • Excuse me. It was a low blow. Call me Ray Allen.

  • Chicago played great. Noah, Miller and Thomas dominated the Celtics frontline. Noah played especially well.

I am sure Mr. Rose has plenty more to say. Hinrich, Gordon. Young and getting better. C's better get on their horse.

  • This exchange reminded me of a good old Team Schaefer/Jerry's Kid's battle. Pete came out of a scrum with the puck, Mike didn't like it and gave him a two-hander, Pete pushed back a bit, and now it's all right. Too bad we can't all enjoy a keg in a very small room tonight.
