Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

  • I did laugh, I must admit

  • I hate that KG is turning into a laughing stock. At this point, I am openly rooting for ping-pong balls, but I'm not sure even Oden or Durant are enough to get this ship turned around.

So, the question is, where is the best place for KG to land this summer? I don't think Chicago will have the pieces w/out PJ's expiring deal. I'd love it if he wound up on the C's - how about Rondo/Al/Theo/Wally, this year's first and the Wolves future pick for KG/T-Hud? That would give Boston a core of PP/KG/Green/Perk/West/Gomes which might be good enough to win now. The Wolves get a couple of nice youngsters and another lottery pick in the Deepest Draft Ever. I guess Boston doesn't do this if they get the 1st or 2nd pick, but frankly they should if they're keeping PP.

  • Chicago is almost certainly out of the picture for KG. They just can't make it work now within the cap without PJ (not just KG but they won't be able to put a package for Gasol this summer either). They had their chance to make a major deal and it was at this deadline. This New Yorker will be very upset if he goes to the C's. I don't know if I can bear the pain let alone all the Tommy points he'll rack up.

Did you all catch the "Thank god for opt outs comment"?

  • The Onion piece is undoubtedly harsh, but would you really prefer the Wolves to move KG? Wow.

And I'm with Davey--fuck KG going to the Celtics, that would suck.

  • I'm just bitter. Very, very bitter (and, Flash, to respond to your other post - I'm done w/Wolves boards for now. Hanging out with other bitter people is bad for your health...

What I'd really like is for the Wolves to miss the playoffs, win the lottery, and slot Oden or Durant next to KG and for a core of KG/Oden/Foye to win a title next year. And if anyone can pull that off, I'm sure it's #1 GM Kevin McHale!
