Among other things

the trade deadline could prove to be a referendum on whether Devin Harris has what it takes to run a winning team. Sure, he had big success in Big D, but the Mavs are clearly better with the diminishing yet dominant Jason Kidd. Harris sucked in New Jersey in a way that has nothing and everything to do with stats. Now in Utah, with a more than adequate supporting caste, Harris has a chance to make his mark. We shall see.

  • Really interesting. I never thought of that. The only thing I could think of was that he'd be good on the Wolves...which kind of proves your point, sadly.

  • Utah still has pieces, so they should still stay on the map. They don't strike me as a winning team anymore, but this could be Harris's chance to step it up. My bet is that he continues his fragile ways. How exciting is it that the patsy in the Melo trade may be the team that won it. Denver hasn't slipped much. Dare we say improved?
